The rumours are true. Ducati has finally launched the 399cc Scrambler Sixty2 at the Milan Motorcycle Show in Italy and is hopefully expected to make its way into Indian shores. Expectations are high as the Italian motorcycle giants have already introduced its bigger sibling the 803cc Scrambler in the country at a price tag of 6.78 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Sixty2 will be targeted at entry level riders looking for a premium experience without having to burn a hole in their pockets. Looks and design-wise, there will not be too many changes from the Scrambler with the only major difference being the power train. If launched in India, we can expect it to be priced under INR 5 lakhs.
We're hoping to hear more good news from Ducati in the coming weeks which should provide a hint as to whether there is hope for an India launch.
