Cannes Film Festival to be held on July

NEW YORK:
The Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday announced that this year’s festival will be held on July 6-17.
They postponed the edition from May to July hoping to have an in-person festival.
It may be mentioned that the Cannes Film Festival was cancelled last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The French Riviera festival, which had run for nearly 75 years with few interruptions, is currently hoping the coronavirus cases recede by summer.
