An upcoming artiste from Nagaland, Zuchobeni Tungoe

 |
Zuchobeni Tungoe, a young local artiste from Nagaland, has made a name for herself locally and is on the verge of getting the exposure she deserves as an artiste. She is the youngest upcoming talent to be featured on Indihut. She rose to fame in 2011 winning the Kids for Fame award which is an annual local singing contest for young aspiring singers in Nagaland.
Tungoe is sixteen years old and the youngest among four siblings. She began singing at the age of four and asserts that she firmly believes that music can be used to heal the gutters of wounded hearts and put smiles on the faces of those around her. Her first public performance was when she sang on stage in front of hundreds of people at a local community fair at the age of six.
She is a talent who has never had formal vocal lessons or attended any music school. A God-gifted artiste who isn't scared to follow her passion or waste her artistic abilities, she made an incisive decision of recording her debut single titled 'Scar' at Clef Ensemble in Kohima, which was released earlier in May on Indihut.
The song received positive responses from music critics in the region. Her shimmery crush-pop tune and heart-on-sleeve whispering vocals have been praised by many. The single is still currently one of the most downloaded songs trending on Indihut.com.
Tungoe takes her influences from Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran as well as local talents such as Shalo Kent who she considers to be her favourite local artiste.
The young talent is yet to release her second single 'Listen To Me' later this month or by early January next year.
