Meghalaya: Stage set for ELIP Metal Fest in Shillong on Dec 15

EVENTS IN YOUR CITY | SHILLONG | Dec 06, 2018: 

The once dubbed "Rock Capital of India" — Shillong is all set to witness yet another weekend of musical event — ELIP Metal Fest as the is stage set to highlight and promote metal bands from Shillong as well as the other parts of the Northeast.

Organised by Plielad Society in Shillong, the first edition of ELIP (Every Life is Precious) Metal Fest will feature 12 bands from the Northeast including the popular 'Confuzone' band from Darjeeling.

The Metal Fest will be held on December 15 at Elephant Falls, 7th Mile in Upper Shillong from 3 pm onwards. Tickets are available at the venue for Rs 300 per head.

A little about Plielad Society: 

This society was formed by three young men in 2017 with an aim to promote the music scene in Shillong and also to provide a platform for local bands to promote their music. The society comprises of 21-yr -old Mebantei Kharkongor, Rishot Mawlong Passah and Willyson Kharkongor — all belonging to families with musical background.
