The last weekend of 14th and 15th April 2018 saw La Bohemienne et les amis opening up its doors again to the public, serving classic La Bohemienne dishes which turned out to be a big hit. The positive response they received was overwhelming and they are happy to announce that this weekend La Bohemienne will be doing a healthy and creative twist on Indian cuisine.

The face behind the brand, Tara Goswami – an artist, yogi and cook believes that food is much more than following standard classic recipes, she sees food as medicine for the body and the soul. She follows her intuition and experiments with available ingredients and interprets them in her unique style. The food she creates is an extension of her yoga practice, as such the focus is always on healthy, nutrient rich, wholesome foods that taste great, but most importantly, make you feel great afterwards too. The artist in her insists that food must always be appealing to the senses and each detailed dish that she carefully plates is as much a visual treat as it is to the palate.

This experimental creative cooking technique makes La Bohemienne unique in that no menu is ever the same. So every time you come, you will be presented with a new menu specially crafted by Tara to give you what she proudly calls 'Flexitarian Food'. She encourages people to see that it is possible to create endless plates without having meats and dairy as the centre of the meal, a concept that is still quite new to the North East of India. She uses local ingredients and makes plant based, low fat alternatives which come together to create a wholesome dining experience. So this weekend, be prepared to find a menu with dishes that vary from classic Indian to a new dishes that infuse Indian flavours in imaginative ways. This take on Indian cuisine will leave you feeling satiated and best of all without a sense of guilt or the heavy greasiness that ia associated to Indian food as Tara ensures that most of her dishes do not involve any use of refined sugar, white flour, butter or any preservatives.

So do drop by this weekend to have a taste of the Gypsy's version of Indian cooking. They will be on for lunch and dinner so make sure to reach out and book your tables in advance. Message here or call +919383049520.
