Shillong’s LB King Band releases debut single “Christmas ain’t the same”

SHILLONG

Shillong based band, The LB King Band released a debut single entitled “Christmas ain’t the same” on December 11.

Formed in the year 2018, the blues-rock band members comprise Lalchhandama Bawitlung (LB King) vocals and guitar, Bame Da-AI Ryntathiang on Keys, Pynshai Kharshandi Bassist and Sunny Manbha on Drums.

“It talks about how with all that’s happened over the past year, this Christmas just isn’t the same. Of how we’ve lost so many things along the way, and how melancholy this December has become because of the pandemic,” said Lalchhandama.

The band releases their debut song ahead of Christmas and is likely to release an EP by 2021.

The song is available in the band’s official YouTube channel, LB King.
