Shillong singer Lily closes 2020 with new single "Blessed"

Shillong-based singer Adoryllene Dkhar Sawain, popularly known as Lily, released her new single titled "Blessed" on Tuesday.

True to its meaning, “Blessed" is a blissful song that calms the soul and does not stick to just one dimension. Lily mentioned that she had written this song when she was at her lowest in life, but the only thing that kept her going was her strong faith in God and, sheer belief that she was not alone.

Directed and Produced by DJ Banshan, "Blessed” is a song which sends a message to its listeners to have faith in themselves. Life may happen to throw a curveball but, one needs to hold on to their dreams because it is one’s sole purpose.

Speaking with TNT- The Northeast Today, Lily said that she is "Blessed" to continue receiving constant support from her family, friends and listeners.

"I had and will always have God beside (me); ultimately it is He who hath given this amazing talent and, I am forever grateful for what his purpose is for me. And to everyone reading this, know that whatever you are going through, it is all going to pass and, there are better days waiting for you. All you need to do is have faith", Lily added.

Lily-Banshan duo had earlier produced songs that have been appreciated by thousands of people, the most popular one being "Jingkyrmen" which hit 2 million views on YouTube.
