Shillong-based DBRYN records releases third music video

SHILLONG:

A music production company called DBRYN Records based in Shillong, Meghalaya came up with an initiative in the month of January 2020 to uplift the talented yet underprivileged local artists of the state by supporting them in music and video production.

Their project called “#SUPPORT LOCAL ARTIST” have successfully produced two music videos, the first one being "Jingim" with a local artist James Kharsyntiew and the second video is of an upcoming rapper Venon aka Synshar from Shillong, whose recent video “Ngan Thom” has so far received 168K views on YouTube.

DBRYN Records has now released its third music video of a song called “Hey Kongthei” under the umbrella of #SUPPORT LOCAL ARTIST project.

The song’s audio version was released on YouTube on January 5, 2020 and this year, to celebrate their one year anniversary, the group released the music video on January 10.

Directed by Shubhom Senapati and produced by DBRYN and John Reynold Kharlyngdoh, the song is performed by Mewan Kharbuli. The cast includes Sneha Sylvana Syiemiong, Ban Lyngdoh, Sairupa N Wahlang, Shradha Sinha, Ksan Kharbuli, Anaida N Wahlang, Dashan N Wahlang, Rex Pathaw, Fer Sten and Steffi Syiemiong.
