New Khasi song “Lynniar Ki Khlaw” set to release on January 1

Meghalaya artist Kenny Lyngdoh, an avid lover of film and video production, will release a new song from his upcoming movie “14/8” on January 1, 2021.

The song “Lynniar Ki Khlaw” will give viewers a glimpse of what to expect from the movie.

“It is a storytelling lyric,” Lyngdoh said.

“The year 2020 has been very challenging for every individual, especially the poor, including indie filmmakers like us. But one must remember, times like these teach us valuable life lessons. We have to be positive and move forward in life,” Lyngdoh told TNT-The Northeast Today.

The song will stream on their Youtube channel “TUNEinTV” and possibly a few radio stations.

Talking about the movie release, Lyngdoh said that they would release the film in June or July 2021 depending on the situation.

“14/8” is about a cunning and reputable politician, who kidnapped a beautiful, young and naive girl who was promised a job and was later abused by another politician.

The major characters in the movie will be played by Elizer Bareh, Catheleen M. Laloo, Icyful Lyngkhoi, Ibalawanpynhun Wriang, Bankyrshan Kharnaior, Lamphrangsngi Nongphud, Shongdorlang Thabah and Hilarius Kharbihkhiew.
