DRUM-OFF INDIA 2020 declares winners; DRUM-OFF GLOBAL 2020 to be held in January 2021

DRUM-OFF INDIA 2020, has announced the winners of the online drums competition on its official Facebook page Drum-Off INDIA 2020, on November 29.

The winners were selected by India's finest drummers, Joshua Vaz, Jai Row Kavi, Teji Toko, Joshua Grant, Lindsay Dmello and Pawan Sharma, who consisted the panel of judges for the competition, with Nishant Hagjer as the Brand Ambassador.

The competition chose one each from Super-Junior, Junior, Intermediate and Open category.

The Super Junior category was won by Devaagyh Dixit from Lucknow, while the Junior category was won by S.Sajan from Chennai, Intermediate was won by Arjun Chakraborty from Kolkata and the open category by Huruangpiyang from Nagaland.

DRUM-OFF INDIA 2020 is an online drumming competition which is a part of DRUM-OFF GLOBAL 2020, and was organised in the country, by Nigel's Academy of Music and was conducted between August and November 9, 2020.

The winners are set to represent India in Drum-Off Global 2020 and compete against winners from other countries such as Italy, Spain, U.K, Singapore, Australia, Germany, Portugal etc in January 2021.

"The global winners will have an all paid flight to Canada and all paid accommodation in Canada to perform their winning drum solo at Drumeo HQ.," said the organisers.

However, it may be subjected to change due to Covid-19 worldwide travel restrictions.

"We wish our country winners the very best and hope to win this Global Championship in all categories, making India Proud!"
