Meghalaya: Shillongites, prepare yourself for a magical dining experience with ‘La Bohemienne et les amis’!

Food lovers from Shillong are well acquainted with La Bohemienne et les amis – a pop up restaurant by Tara Goswami – an artist, yogi and cook. The immense response to the launch of the Pop-Up last year has prompted Tara to continue with her ambition to create unforgettably magical dining experiences, served with a generous helping of eccentricity.
La Bohemienne et Les Amis is not your usual restaurant because there is always something new to try as the menu constantly changes. If you are looking to try something different that's new, healthy and appealing not only for your eyes but your tummy as well, then this is the place for you. Walk in and be greeted by the rustic and free vibe of the café that will transport you to the cafes that adorn the streets of Spain. A place where food, art and fun bring people together for something richer to evolve.
The French name of the café (a take on the old Bohemia run by her parents in the 70's) translates to "the gypsy and friends" and the ambiance of the café emote that very essence. Refreshingly different and yet homely, it's a place you could easily let your guards down in.
The café will be open from the second week of April 2018 only on weekends through to the end of May. Special dining events will be announced on the Facebook page so make sure to give them a like and keep yourself posted. Do visit before the gypsy takes off on her next adventure!
