Meghalaya: Jowai en-route from having less cash to going cashless!

Paytm is organising an open awareness campaign aimed at digital cashless transactions from December 12  i.e. from market day in Jowai, West Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya till December 16 in Iawmusiang MTC parking stand and many other locations in the district.

With Paytm you can buy goods in general stores, ride taxis, pay bill in restaurants, buy medicines in pharmacy, buy petrol in petrol bunks, all with a phone. And whats more you don't need a smartphone, you don't even need internet! A basic feature phone is good enough to do transaction via Paytm.

You can also transfer money from your paytm wallet to your bank account. Shopkeepers will get their own QR code for doing business. Customer can pay to the shopkeeper in an instant with zero % fee. All the benefits and transaction modes will be explained to the public by the paytm team during campaign days.

From less-cash to cash-less!
