This Northeast state creates history by arranging longest train Journey

KOHIMA | JUNE 12, 2020:

Nagaland has created history by arranging the sharmik special train covering the longest known train route (4322 kms) in India which is higher than India's longest train route of Vivek Express.

Union Minister of State of Railways, Government of India, Suresh Angadi, in his tweet, informed that the train, carrying stranded citizens of Nagaland, departed from Thiruvananthapuram on June 9 and will be arriving Dimapur Train station on June 13.

Like in other northeastern states, the entry and screening of citizens of Nagaland, stranded in many states across the country, is an ongoing progress.

So far, Nagaland reports 156 total positive cases with 126 active and 30 recovered.
