#1. In a recent study conducted by a team of scientists and published in the Journal of the International Union of Crystallography, a protein crystal located in the midgut of cockroaches is four times more nutritious than cow's milk and they think it could be the key to feeding our growing population in the near future.

#2. According to the study, the nutrient-dense milk is actually a post-natal fluid that is secreted in the form of crystals and is packed with essential proteins, fats, and carbs.

#3. The researchers claim that a single crystal of the milk contains more than 4-times the energy of an equivalent mass of cow milk. The milk is also high in amino acids and is like a complete food in itself.

#4. The cockroach milk comes from the Pacific beetle (the only species of cockroach that gives birth to young ones instead of laying eggs) that is found in India, Australia, Hawaii, China, and Myanmar. And, for this, you need to kill a cockroach as there is no other way out to do so.
