VIDEOS | Tura Adventure Club calls on citizens to “Think Green”

TURA | JULY 04, 2020: 

Tura Adventure Club (TAC) organised a month-long plantation drive at Jengjal 30 kms from Tura in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya.  More than 1500 Saplings were planted in various locations throughout the month starting from June 5 on the occasion of World Environment day.

As a concluding Plantation drive, 400 + sapling were planted along with other clubs at the National Highway that connects Tura to Shillong via Nongstoin in Meghalaya, where the DPR had no provisions for roadside plantations during the construction of the highway

The drive was initiated by TAC along with PWD (R) Western Zone and Social Forestry Tura along with Tura Motor Sports Club(TMSC), Tura Runners Club(TRC) & NH-51 R.E.B.E.L.S Club.
