Unlock 3.0 rules for Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR | AUG 20, 2020:

The Arunachal Pradesh government has released an updated set of rules for 'Unlock 3.0'. The rules will be applicable up to August 31, 2020.

The activities permitted during Unlock 3.0 in Arunachal Pradesh are as follows:

  • Shops and other business establishments are to operate for nine hours from 8 am to 5 pm throughout the week except for Sunday.
  • All government offices outside the containment zones will be allowed to function normally.
  • Inter-district movement for citizens will be allowed, provided they don't live in containment zones.
  • Health facilities and pharmacies will be allowed to operate without time restrictions.
  • On the national highway connecting Banderdewa with Hollongi, shops will be allowed to open on either side of the road on alternate days.

Public transport will be allowed with 50 percent occupancy from Monday to Saturday.

Restrictions during Unlock 3.0:

  • Visitors will not be allowed at government offices during work hours.
  • Individuals found violating COVID-19 norms will be moved to an institutional quarantine centre.
  • Returnees are required to undergo RDT-Antigen test at entry points. If a returnee tests negative, he or she will be placed under home quarantine for five days or to a COVID care centre in the advent of a positive test result.
