Two vehicles set ablaze in Tripura, four arrested

AGARTALA:

Residents of Matabari, Udaipur town in Tripura's Gomati district, set two vehicles on fire and attacked the drivers and passengers on the suspicion that they stole ten cows.

The incident took place on Wednesday, and sources state that police have arrested four people near Udaipur Mata Tripura Sundari Mandir.

Police identified the drivers as Debu Das and Saddam Hussein.

During interrogation, Debu Das said they had brought the cows from Assam.

Meanwhile, the accused are in police custody, and the matter will undergo further investigation.
