Tripura youth found dead in Chennai
AGARTALA:
A 28-year-old youth from Tripura was found dead at his apartment in Chennai on Wednesday.
Police ruled his death a suicide by hanging. The deceased, identified as Mijan Hossein, was from Maynama village under the Sonamura Subdivision in the Sepahijala District of Tripura.
According to sources, Hossein went to Chennai in search of employment. Hossein’s family members were informed about his death by Chennai Police.
During the preliminary investigation, police recovered a finger ring near the body.
According to Hossein’s family, he was in a relationship with a girl from Bishalgarh who was also working in Chennai.
The family members also suspect that Hossein was murdered and that the perpetrators made the crime look like a suicide.
