Tripura: Terminated teachers set to launch agitation in state capital

| AGARTALA: The terminated teachers of Tripura will launch another agitation program in the state capital.
According to sources, a letter to the administration from the agitating teachers to sought permission was patched through, but the police declined their request.
Kamal Deb, an agitating teacher, said that they have filed a case in the High court seeking permission to launch the protest as the district administration did not heed the request.
A section of intellectuals comprising writers, journalists, professors and lawyers conducted a rally against the attack on the terminated teachers.
