Tripura reports 19 new COVID-19 cases, 3 more deaths

Tripura on Monday reported 19 more COVID-19 cases, pushing the tally to 32,434, a Health Department official said.

The state's COVID-19 death toll rose to 366 after three more patients succumbed to the infection, he said.

West Tripura district, of which state capital Agartala is a part, has accounted for 185 of the 366 COVID-19 deaths, the official said.

There are 799 active cases in the state at present, while 31,246 people have recovered from the disease, the official said.

Ninety patients were discharged from the GB Pant Hospital after recovery on Sunday.

As many as 5,13,040 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the state so far, he said. (PTI)
