The work done by doctors, nurses, health workers, cleaners during this time is unprecedented," Deb said.

"The Covid situation has taught us a lot. The most important thing is to develop a self-reliant mentality. State journalists have also played an important role. They have also helped to create awareness by serving the news on the risk of life. I thank all the frontline workers and the entire state for their cooperation. Your cooperation is also desirable in the coming days," he said.

"In the first phase, about 45,000 health workers will be vaccinated against Covid. In the second phase, about 90,000 field staff will be vaccinated. In the third phase, about nine lakh people will be vaccinated.
