AGARTALA:

The Education Department of Tripura on November 30 has cancelled the physical attendance of the students in colleges because of not receiving a positive response from the Health Department.

“The Health department did not give any positive response to open educational institutions. Therefore, students in colleges do not have to be physically present until further notice, Director of Higher Education, Saju Wahid stated in a release.

Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar opposed the decision taken by the education department, stating that it will be dangerous for the students.
