Tripura government seek people’s suggestion for the upcoming budget

The Tripura state government has come up with a unique idea where the government will seek people’s proposal for the upcoming budget of the state.

The state government has declared a phone number and would take in people’s ideas, proposals and suggestion for the next budget.

The phone number given is 8794534501.

The state budget of 2021-22 will be placed in the assembly in the last part of this month.

Finance Minister Jishnu Deb Barma, last year tabled the budget of Rs. 19,891 crore with a deficit of Rs. 511.41 crore having 19 new major announcements with a revenue expenditure of Rs 17,252.12 crore and capital expenditure of Rs 2,639.48 crore for the financial year 2020-21.
