Tripura: COVID-19 vaccination drive kicks off with 61.5 per cent turnout on fourth day

AGARTALA:

The fourth day of the COVID-19 vaccination drive was held on Thursday in Tripura.

“As of now, 61.5 per cent have been vaccinated,” says Dr Siddharth Shiv Jaswal, Director of the National Health Mission, Tripura.

Jaswal mentioned that the health department has targeted to vaccinate 45 thousand health workers within the first phase.

The Mission Director said that if the vaccination process continues in this speed, then within the next 20 days, they will complete the target for the first phase.

Dr Jaswal also added that no major problems were detected in anyone after the vaccine was given.

Minor problems like headaches were reported however, it was later found out that they were suffering from other diseases.
