Tripura: 1 killed, 23 injured as bus falls into a gorge in Dhalai District

AGARTALA: An accident took place on Amarpur to Gandachhara road in Dhalai District this evening.
According to sources, 23 people have been injured and one person died on the spot.
The deceased identified as 16-year- old Purnaram Reang.
Eighteen people have been admitted to Amarpur Hospital, and five people have been referred to Gomti District Hospital.
It was reported that the passengers were on their way to a marriage ceremony event in Raisyabari and while returning; the bus lost control and fell into a gorge about 50 feet.
Ambulance and fire service personnel have rushed to the spot, and an operation is going on till the time of filing the report.
