TIPRA will contest in election, says Tripura Royal Scion

AGARTALA: Tripura scion Pradyot Kishore, on Friday, announced on that ‘TIPRA’, will contest the next ADC election.

“We demand that every indigenous area/village which is today outside the TTADC should be included under the Greater Tipraland.” said Pradyot.

Citing examples of The National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN), who are fighting for greater Nagalim, he said that the indigenous people of Tripura can fight for greater Tipraland.

TIPRA (The Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance) is a social-cultural organisation formed by Pradyot Kishore after resigning from the Congress party one and half year back.

He said that the Greater Tipraland, when formed, would include the areas outside the ADC where the people of the Tripuri community live.

Meanwhile, he appealed to all the regional parties like IPFT, INPT, TPP, TPF, to fight unitedly for the elections.
