Journalists to get the vaccine as a priority base, says Tripura CM

AGARTALA:

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, on Tuesday, said that journalists and media workers would get the COVID-19 vaccine as a priority base with other frontline warriors.

Earlier, the Agartala Press Club had sent a letter to the chief minister stating that media workers are also frontline warriors and should get the COVID-19 vaccine on a priority basis along with their family members.

Pranab Sarkar, the secretary of Agartala Press Club, had also met the chief minister on Monday to discuss the matter.
