Athawale launches Republican Party of India (A) unit in Tripura

AGARTALA:

The president of the Republican Party of India (A) or RPI(A), Ramdas Athawale, launched the party’s Tripura unit on Monday.

“We aim at contesting in the next assembly elections in Tripura if our alliance partner BJP agrees to share 3-4 seats with us,” Athawale said.

According to Athawale, who is also the Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, the party aims to work for the people from various sections of society.
