TRIPURA:

Agartala recorded the coldest day of the season on Monday when temperatures dipped to 7.5 degrees Celsius.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Sunday, recorded a minimum temperature of 8.4 degrees Celsius and said that the dip was because of the cold wave in the city.

The IMD further stated that the wave would continue for another 4-5 days accompanied by chilly wind and foggy conditions.

The city witnessed a dense fog cover in the early morning hours, which led to delayed flights and other activities coming to a halt.
