Tripura | Ganja worth Rs.10 lakh seized from two separate raids

In a major breakthrough today Tripura's Amtali Police, SB, GRP & RPF seized huge quantity of Ganja from Agartala Railway Station in two separate raids. Police have also arrested two persons Lalindra Kumar and Suresh Ray from Tripura Sundari Express. They were trying to carry Ganja from Agartala to Bihar.

The first recovery was made in Platform no. 2 where 110 kg of ganja was recovered by security forces. Later in the second raid Amtali Police officials led SDPO Ajay Kumar Das and GRF recovered another 55 kg of ganja from a packet inside the train. Both the accused were arrested in the second raid. The total value of the ganja seized is approximately 10 lakh rupees.
