West Bengal Governor visits Sikkim

GANGTOK

West Bengal Governor, Jagdeep Dhankhar, took a three-day trip to Sikkim, as he attended a cultural cum felicitation programme organised by Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) in collaboration with Sikkim’s Culture Department at Manan Kendra, Gangtok on November 6.

The occasion was also graced by the First Lady of West Bengal, Sudesh Dhankhar, with Governor Ganga Prasad as the Chief Guest.

State culture minister Samdup Lepcha, dignitaries of EZCC and cultural department were also present for the programme.

Today, Chief Secretary SC Gupta called on Bengal Governor at Raj Bhawan, Gangtok.

The Governor thanked him for the warm and befitting reception upon entry to the State of Sikkim.
