Sikkim: Road accident kills two at Gangtok’s suburban area

GANGTOK: Two persons died in a car accident at Bulbuley stretch of Gangtok, on Thursday, police informed.
The accident occurred at 3 am, added police sources.
Police acted after they received the information from Medical Officer of Sir Thutob Namgyal Memorial (STNM) Hospital.
According to police, there were five persons in a private vehicle that met with an accident at the capital Bulbuley stretch.
Out of the five individuals, three sustained injuries, and two lost their lives, police informed.
The two deceased are 24-year-old male from Sichey, and a 20-year-old female from Tadong.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the cause of the accident.
