Sikkim Govt issues new notification to contain COVID-19

GANGTOK:

The Sikkim Government, on Thursday, issued a new notification on measures to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus following a recent increase in the number of cases in the country.

All commercial establishments, including restaurants, bars, nightclubs, discos, gyms and pubs, will be closed by 10:00 pm with an exemption for in-house guests.

Vehicular movement from 10:30 pm to 6:00 am will not be permitted except for emergencies.

Schools and other educational institutions should ensure that social distancing is maintained, including the use of hand sanitiser and face masks.
