Sikkim CM felicitates Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardee

GANGTOK:

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, on Thursday, felicitated Ayush Ranjan for being accorded the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Baal Purashkar, 2021.

Ranjan is a student of Rangpo Sr. Sec School and was chosen for the award under the innovation category.

"Ranjan has received several awards in the past, and he is an asset to the sate," Tamang said while handing out the award.

Hailing him as a shining example for the students, Tamang urged others to follow in his footsteps to achieve excellence in the field of education.

Tamang also highlighted the important roles parents and teachers play in bringing out the best in their wards.

Education Minister Kunga Nima Lepcha and other officials from the department were also present during the felicitation programme.
