Missing woman from Sikkim located in Punjab

Sikkim Police successfully located the whereabouts of a missing woman and her 8-year-old daughter on December 28, who went missing under broad daylight.

The woman whose name has been withheld, and her daughter reportedly went missing from Sikkim, leaving no trace.

Following a complaint filed by her husband, the police department led by Inspector Tara Sharma conducted a search operation, and successfully traced them in Gurdaspur district of Punjab.

The Sikkim Police and the Punjab Police located the missing women at Fatehpur Churan Police Station in Punjab.

Meanwhile, an investigation from the police has revealed that the women had gone to see a friend whom she had met over Facebook, and she has not filed any specific complaint for abduction or any other charges.
