Three from Nagaland bag ‘Best House Construction’ award under PMAY-U Mission

KOHIMA:

Three beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) from Nagaland recently received the ‘Best House Construction Award’.

The recipients include Seyievino Angami and John Liegise Zeliang from Dimapur and Kezhusenu Tase from Kohima.

As many as 88 beneficiaries from across the country were selected for this award.

The Secretary to the Government of India handed out the awards to the beneficiaries virtually during the annual awards for excellence in implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) Mission recently.

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) Mission, launched on June 25 2015, intends to provide housing for all in urban areas by the year 2022.
