Seven persons injured in Dimapur-Hojai bus accident

At least seven persons were injured in a road mishap that took place at Longbi Hanse village, Kuligaon of Dillai-Sarihajan road under Bokajan Police Station on Tuesday.

According to sources, the mishap took place at around 10:45 am, when a Dimapur-Hojai bound bus bearing registration number (AS01BC-3145) lost control and hit a roadside tree.

The driver tried to escape but was later caught by Dillai police.

Police immediately reached the spot and with the help of locals, the injured persons were immediately taken to Sarihajan Primary Health Centre and at Bokajan for treatment.

Meanwhile, Bokajan MLA, Dr Numal Momin visited Bokajan Civil Hospital and met with the victims and assured proper medical treatment to the injured persons.
