KOHIMA:

The advisor to the Education Department of the Government of Nagaland, K Tokugha Sukhalu, on Tuesday informed that schools across the state will reopen from February 2021.

Sukhalu made the announcement while flagging off a week-long sports event at the District Local ground in Kohima.

The advisor, while speaking to media about the development informed, "The State is preparing to reopen schools for students of all classes in a staggered manner."

The schools will function according to the conditions set by the education department, which has set some guidelines before the resumption of regular classes.

Since the vaccine has not yet arrived, the advisor urged the schools to follow all the COVID-19 SOPs provided by the Education Department.
