Nagaland School Education Department has permitted all schools functioning within the state to resume regular classes for students of classes VI and above with effect from February 8.
Schools should strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines issued by the state government while conducting the regular classes, Principal Director of School Education, Shanavas C said in a notification.
He also informed that the first and third Saturdays of every month should be used for class tests, co-curricular activities, life skills or social activities including observing Events of national importance.
