One dies, another injured after truck falls into gorge in Nagaland's Zunheboto district

KOHIMA:

One person lost his life while another was severely injured in a road mishap that took place on Tuesday around 3 am at Atoizu area in Zunheboto district of Nagaland.

According to reports, the truck was loaded with cement and bricks including other construction materials.

The "poor" and narrow condition of the road was alleged to be the reason behind the accident, where it was reported that the loaded truck went off track and fell into a steep gorge.

The truck driver died on the spot, and the injured handyman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
