Nitin Gadkari to lay foundation stone for ₹4,127 crore highway projects for Nagaland

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in a virtual ceremony will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for ₹ 4,127-crore highway projects in Nagaland on December 4.

In a statement issued, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said, “Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 15 NH (National Highway) projects having 270 km worth Rs 4,127 crore.”

Besides improving transportation viability, the National Highway projects will not only provide an alternate route to Imphal and Dimapur but will connect the state capital of Nagaland to Phek district and the border areas of Myanmar.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will also be present on the occasion.
