KOHIMA:

As normalcy gradually starts creeping back into the state, the Nagaland Government has permitted the opening up of various public spaces.

With protocols in place, the government on Saturday decided to open up entertainment parks, outdoor parks, recreation areas, museums, exhibitions, art galleries and theatres.

These public spaces will be opened subject to strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

For places of worship, the capacity has been increased to 200 from the previous 100 while, more than 100 persons are permitted to attend social functions.

However, this is only permissible outside the Containment Zones, subject to adherence to the SOPs.

As of December 26, Nagaland reported a total of 11897 positive cases with 274 active, 11415 recoveries and 68 deaths.
