KOHIMA:

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphieu Rio, on Wednesday, said the State Government will conduct a consultative meeting on job reservation policy in Kohima on March 5.

"The consultative meeting will be chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and will be attended by Minister Neiba Kronu, the Cabinet Sub Committee along with the Chief Secretary, and the Home department," Rio said.

Earlier, the Eastern Nagaland Students Federation (ENSF) drafted a six-point charter of demands concerning the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).

It also drafted a four-point charter of demands concerning the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC).

The ENSF also demanded a 45 per cent reservation for the people of Eastern Nagaland.

"I hope people will come and speak their mind. We have to go by the system and our people. We practice a very refined democracy, we do a lot of consultations, and people should understand the concept," Rio said.
