Nagaland Govt slashes tax on fuel from midnight 

KOHIMA:

Nagaland Government has slashed tax on Diesel, Petrol, and other Motor Spirit with effect from midnight/tonight. 

The Finance Department in a notification said that tax on diesel is slashed from existing 17.50 per cent or 11 rupees 08 paisa per litre to 16.50 per cent or 10 rupees 51 paisa per litre, whichever is higher. 

Tax on petrol and other motor spirits is slashed from existing 29.80 per cent or 18 rupees 26 paisa per litre to 25 per cent or 16 rupees 04 paisa per litre, whichever is higher.
