Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio receives COVID-19 vaccination

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and wife Kaisa Rio, on March 3, received their first doses of Covid-19 vaccination, at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), Nagaland.

Rio was also accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister, Y. Patton and school education advisor, KT Sukhalu, for his vaccination.

He expressed happiness that India could manufacture its own vaccine.

“The third phase has come, which is for the senior citizens, allowing us to take the vaccine,” said CM Rio.

He also appealed to the people to visit the nearest health facility and take the vaccine.

Meanwhile, Health Minister S. Pangnyu Phom also received his first vaccination along with other legislators, at Dimapur district hospital.
