Nagaland Chief Secretary Temjen Toy passes away at 57

Nagaland Chief Secretary Temjen Toy, IAS passed away on January 28 in Kohima.

He was 57 and is survived by his wife, two sons and 2 daughters.

Temjen Toy was selected to the IAS in 1989 through the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) and allotted the Nagaland cadre. A keen environmentalist he served in three districts at various capacities.

Toy was diagnosed with lung cancer last year and underwent treatment in New York, he recently returned to Nagaland.

Temjen Toy’s condition deteriorated yesterday and passed away in Kohima today.
