Four NSCN(U) cadres arrested in Nagaland

KOHIMA:

Security forces along with police representatives apprehended four cadres of NSCN- Unification (U) near Phor village in Phek District of Nagaland on October 23.

Based on specific inputs, the security forces launched an operation and apprehended the individuals from the area.

According to sources, it was suspected the cadres were planning to cross the Indo-Myanmar border via Laluri village and further link up with NSCN (K-Nikki) faction.

The apprehended individuals have been handed over to Meluri Police Station for further investigation.
