Nagaland: As NPF loses grip, Zeliang open to alliance from any party

As NPF gradually loses its grip in its stronghold bastion Nagaland, incumbent Chief Minister TR Zeliang in an interview to a news channel has made it clear that the party will welcome any form of alliance. The CM has not ruled out the possibility of any alliance with the BJP.
He also stated that Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is in constant touch with him.
This has raised a lot of speculations about the NDPP-BJP alliance and the manner in which the alliance has emerged as a stong combination against the NPF
It will be left to see whether there will be any solution to the Naga issue whichever government comes to power
