No fresh case of COVID-19 reported in Mizoram

The COVID situation in Mizoram has "considerably" improved as the recovery rate, so far, stands at 97.58 per cent.
No fresh case of COVID-19 was reported in the last 24 hours in Mizoram and, the total number of active cases has dropped to 88.
Ten patients have recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
Mizoram reported its first case of COVID-19 in March after a pastor, who came back from Amsterdam in the Netherlands, tested positive for the infection.
The state reported the first COVID fatality in October after a 62-year-old man succumbed to the infection at a hospital near Aizawl.
