AIZAWL: The Mizoram government will organise a one-week refresher course for officers of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Aizawl.
“ACB plays an important role. It's work and activities are for public interest and public welfare,” Mizoram Chief secretary Lalnunmawia Chuaungo said.
“We cannot stand as mute spectators, but we must take steps to ensure that the malaise of corruption does not spread and must be checked,” he said.
He also mentioned that the ACB has worked in close coordination with Lok Ayukta since its inception.
The week-long programme will be conducted by 11 faculty members from the Police Department and other crime departments, including Dr Vanlalthlana, MLA of Aizawl North II constituency.
